Business-tool guidance
Business mode includes closely related percentage calculations such as increase or decrease, discounts, tax, markup, and target profit margin. Enter the requested values, review the labels carefully, and select Calculate. Results are intended for general productivity and should be independently checked before making important accounting, tax, lending, or legal decisions.
Troubleshooting
The extension icon is missing
Select Chrome’s Extensions icon, locate Office Calculator, and select the pin icon. The calculator will then remain visible in the toolbar.
The popup does not open or looks outdated
Open chrome://extensions, confirm Office Calculator is enabled, and reload the extension. For a Chrome Web Store installation, Chrome normally updates extensions automatically.
A keyboard shortcut is not working
First click inside the calculator popup, then try the key again. Browser or operating-system shortcuts can take priority over some key combinations.
History or theme was reset
History, memory, and theme are stored locally. Clearing browser extension data, reinstalling the extension, or using certain browser-cleaning tools can remove those settings.
I found an incorrect result

Frequently asked questions
Does Office Calculator collect my calculations?
No. Calculations are processed locally and are not transmitted to OfficeCalculator.net or a third party.
Which Chrome permissions does it request?
Office Calculator v6.0 requests no Chrome permissions and no host permissions.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Core features work offline because the required calculator code is included in the extension package.
How many calculations are kept in history?
Version 6.0 keeps up to 20 recent calculations locally in the extension.
How do I clear the history?
Use the clear-history control in the extension’s history area. Removing the extension also removes its extension storage according to Chrome behavior.
Can I use it for official tax or accounting decisions?
It is a general productivity calculator. Verify important results against applicable rules, professional advice, and authoritative records.
