Install the public release

Open the official listing

Use the Add to Chrome button on this page to open the official Chrome Web Store listing.

Select “Add to Chrome”

Review the extension name, publisher information, description, screenshots, privacy details, and requested access.

Confirm the installation

Chrome will show a confirmation prompt. Office Calculator v6.0 requests no Chrome permissions.

Pin Office Calculator

Select Chrome’s Extensions icon, find Office Calculator, and select the pin so it remains available in the toolbar.

Start calculating

Select the Office Calculator icon and use Standard or Business mode. No account or setup process is required.

Load an unpacked build for local testing

This method is for the developer or trusted testers. Normal users should install the reviewed Chrome Web Store release.

Extract the extension ZIP into a normal folder.
Open chrome://extensions in Chrome.
Enable Developer mode.
Select Load unpacked.
Choose the extracted folder containing manifest.json.
Select the Office Calculator toolbar icon to test it.

Update the extension

Chrome Web Store installations normally update automatically. For an unpacked development build, replace the local files and select Reload on chrome://extensions.

Remove the extension

Open Chrome’s Extensions menu.
Open Office Calculator details or select the menu beside it.
Choose Remove from Chrome and confirm.

Removing the extension also removes its local extension storage according to Chrome behavior.
