Privacy summary
Office Calculator does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data or calculation data. Core calculations are performed locally in your browser.
The extension is designed to provide standard and business-related calculations from the Chrome toolbar. It does not require an account and does not request access to browsing history, tabs, website content, location, contacts, identity, or payment information.
Information we collect
We do not collect information through the extension. The extension does not transmit your calculation inputs, results, history, memory values, theme selection, browsing activity, or device information to OfficeCalculator.net or a third party.
Information stored locally
The extension may store the following information locally inside your browser so its features work between sessions:
- Recent calculation history.
- The current calculator memory value.
- Your selected light, dark, or system theme.
This information is used only by the extension on your device. It is not uploaded to our servers. You can clear calculation history inside the extension. Removing the extension also removes its locally stored extension data according to Chrome’s behavior.
Chrome permissions
Office Calculator version 6.0 requests no Chrome permissions and no host permissions. It does not access or modify pages you visit.
Remote code and third-party services
All HTML, CSS, JavaScript, icons, and calculator functionality required by the extension are included in the extension package. The extension does not download or execute remotely hosted JavaScript, WebAssembly, or similar executable code.
The extension contains no advertising network, analytics SDK, behavioral tracking system, or third-party data-collection service.
External links
The extension includes an optional link to OfficeCalculator.net. The website opens only when you select that link. Once you visit the website, the OfficeCalculator.net website privacy policy applies to that website visit. The extension does not silently load website content or transmit your calculations when you follow the link.
Children’s privacy
The extension does not knowingly collect information from children or adults because it does not collect user data. It is a general-purpose calculation tool and does not provide account creation, messaging, or social features.
Security
Keeping calculations local and requesting no browser permissions reduces data exposure. No software can guarantee absolute security, but the extension is intentionally designed to minimize the information it handles and the access it receives.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the extension’s features or legal requirements change. A revised policy will show a new “last updated” date. If a future version begins collecting or transmitting information, the policy and Chrome Web Store disclosures will be updated before or alongside that change.
