Grade 1: build relationships within small numbers
Early arithmetic practice should help a learner see how quantities relate. Addition and subtraction within 20 are useful targets because children can connect them to counting, making ten, taking away and comparing. The 1st grade game collection begins with addition within 10, expands to 20 and then mixes addition and subtraction.
Place value, measurement, time, data and shapes also belong in a full learning programme. A browser game focused on arithmetic should not pretend to replace hands-on objects, drawings, discussion and classroom instruction.
Grade 2: extend place value and calculation range
Second-grade practice can connect tens and ones with addition and subtraction within 100. Equal groups also provide a foundation for later multiplication. The 2nd grade collection therefore includes a tens-and-ones level, two-digit calculations, early multiplication and simple money situations.
One useful question after a correct answer is: “How do you know?” A child who can explain that 63 is six tens and three ones is developing a different kind of understanding from a child who only recognises the numeral.
Grade 3: connect multiplication and division
Third-grade number practice commonly gives more attention to multiplication and division. Fact families help learners see the relationship: knowing 6 × 8 = 48 supports 48 ÷ 6 = 8 and 48 ÷ 8 = 6. The 3rd grade collection provides multiplication, exact division and larger-number arithmetic before moving into strategy puzzles.

Choose by skill, not label alone
A grade label is a starting point, not a diagnosis. Curriculum sequence varies by country, school and learner. Begin one level below the expected challenge if the child is anxious or unfamiliar with the interface. If the learner answers at least eight of ten accurately and can explain the method, try the next level. If errors repeat, reduce the number range and demonstrate the idea with objects or drawings.

There is nothing magical about ten minutes. The useful part is a short, repeatable routine with a clear goal. Stop when attention drops and return later instead of treating game time as punishment.
