Printable practice for students, parents and teachers
Create a focused worksheet for one algebra skill or choose mixed practice to revisit several methods. Every question is generated for this set, with a matching answer and working. The question list leaves space for handwritten steps. You can print questions alone, or include the answer key after the questions.
The foundation setting emphasizes small integer values, basic linear equations, one-bracket expansion, square identities and factor cancellation. Stretch practice includes negative solutions, unknowns on both sides, products of brackets, non-unit quadratic coefficients and adding algebraic fractions.
These labels describe the problem types, not a formal grade or examination specification. Select examples that match the material already taught. If a student is learning a topic for the first time, review the worked questions before generating a whole sheet.
How to use the answer key
Try each question before opening its worked solution. For a linear equation, compare both the final value and the operations used to isolate the unknown. For expansion, check each product and then the signs of combined terms. For factoring, multiply the factors back out.
An identity question asks whether the expressions match for every value. A single matching substitution does not prove that they do. If an identity is false, the answer key gives a polynomial difference and a counterexample. Fraction answers include excluded values, even when their simplified form no longer has a denominator.
Keep the set code if you need to recreate the same worksheet later. Reproduction also needs the same topic, difficulty and question count. Changing these settings can change the order or content of questions even when the set code is unchanged.
Printing and saving a PDF
Select Print questions for a student copy. Select Print with answers for a teacher or revision copy; the key starts on a new page and includes the working steps. The print layout hides navigation, controls and advertisements. Use your browser’s paper-size and margin settings to fit your printer.
Most modern browsers offer Save as PDF in the print destination list. This creates a PDF of the current sheet without an account or upload. If you change a worksheet setting, generate the worksheet again before printing so the displayed questions match the selected options.
All worksheet arithmetic runs in the browser. This generator focuses on polynomial school algebra; it does not create geometry diagrams, advanced symbolic problems or a complete examination paper.
